2020 will forever be marked as the year that has challenged businesses the most to adapt to unpredictable changes. Eurobridge was no different to this challenge, but as the year comes to an end it is necessary for us to take a look back and pat ourselves on the back for the milestones that we’ve achieved, despite the current circumstances.

With the help of our incredible team and marketing partners, not only was Eurobridge able to stay afloat during a global pandemic, but also be innovative and launch new services, systems and a new website.

New DDU/DAP Service

In September we launched the new DDU/DAP Service which provides the possibility of assigning a new DDU/DAP status on international freight that offers our clients greater control on which parties are responsible to pay duty on cross-border shipments. This new service of ours was made available for full containers, groupage containers, airfreight and project cargo service from Malta to all the world, including African countries, and vice versa.

New Website

Following the launch of our new service, in October Eurobridge went live with a newly redesigned company website showcasing an overview of the services we provide, as well as the ability to request a free shipping quote in a couple of clicks. This has helped in improving transparency with our clients along with speeding up the decision making process for those who require our services.

Video Ad

Prior to our new website launch, we also released a video ad titled ‘If you got it, we brought it’ which shows how various household items and foodstuffs make their way to Maltese consumers through logistics and supply chains managed by us. Considering our niche client base, this video is considered an absolute hit for Eurobridge, with the video reaching 46K views in just three months.

AEO Certification

Our most recent achievement would be getting certified as an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) by the Maltese Customs after proving that we fulfil all the requirements of the Union Customs Code (UCC) Regulation of the European Union.

This certification came along with numerous benefits but overall was a means of putting pen to paper in the ability to distinguish our company as a reliable shipping agency to clear goods across the EU. In doing so, this certification makes EuroBridge the more competitive choice for businesses moving goods across countries.

…and much more to come!

Additionally, our innovation doesn’t end here, and our internal team is working hard at developing a new system that will enhance our customer experience by leaps and bounds! So we encourage you to keep your eyes peeled on your inbox in January when we will provide you with all that you need to know about our new system!

In saying that, here at Eurobridge we are all so grateful about the past year. Despite the hardships that we as a country have faced, the global pandemic has enforced us to really reflect on why we do what we do, and we are immensely proud of the fact that we were able to carry on with our work to ensure that the Maltese population did not run short of any foreign goods or services that they required amidst a global pandemic.

We wish you all the best this holiday season and look forward to getting back to business in 2021!
