Events relating to the COVID-19 virus worldwide are developing day by day, at EuroBridge we have moved forward to implement new preventive measures to safeguard our staff, sub-contractors and our esteemed clients during this critical time.

Until further notice, please note that:

1. The office will be accessible only to our staff.

If you have to visit our offices, kindly phone before-hand and you will be assisted by the stairway. Kindly observe at least one-metre distance from our staff and avoid any physical contact.

2. Where possible, send documents electronically or drop them in our letterbox outside our office.

3. No meetings will be held with third parties.

If you would like to talk to us ‘face-to-face’, we will happily set up a video conferencing call.

4. The warehouse will be accessible only to our staff.

Please instruct your representatives to follow all preventive measures taken up in our yard and strictly follow the instructions given by our staff.

Other measures we are taking include the following:

Fork Lifter charges (Terminal Handling) of all goods imported through our service arriving from Monday 16th March 2020 will be charged directly in our freight invoice. Kindly advise your representative NOT to pay the Fork Lift charge (€ 3.50 inc. VAT per lift) at the warehouse as it will be already included in our freight invoice.

This measure is only applicable for cargo being picked up from our warehouse as our door-to-door rates already include the Fork Lift charge.

We also encourage the use of bank transfers instead of payments by cheques/cash to reduce physical contact where possible.

We are sure the above measures will reduce the risk for all involved and would help reduce the outbreak of the virus. We kindly ask you to understand our position and to abide by the above measures.

In the meantime, we also urge you to follow all the directives given by the Health Authorities on the matter. For the latest updates and advice about COVID-19 in Malta, please check the official Government page.
